What is Predict Addict?
Predict Addict is a free online football prediction league game that allows members to predict the outcomes of football fixtures.
What is a football prediction league game?
A football prediction league game allows users to guess at the outcome of football fixtures. A prediction league game allows users to guess at the outcome of football fixtures. Points are awarded to players who most accurately predict the outcome of a football fixture, those points are accumulated and given a ranking on the leaderboard.
Is it free to play to join Predict Addict?
Yes. It is completely free to play for anyone with a computer and an internet connection.
What do I need to play Predict Addict?
A computer with an Internet connection, however Predict Addict requires IE 6+ or FireFox. Other browsers may work, but we make no guarantees.
What prizes do you offer?
Currently no prizes are offered. However, if you wish to donate a prize then email us.
The football league season has already started, is it too late to join?
No, it's not too late to join, you can register at any point in the football league season. If the competition has ended, register as normal and we will notify you of when the competition will be starting again.
How do I enter my predictions?
Log into the website and you will be presented with the up and coming football fixtures that need predictions, enter your predictions until satisfied and click the Update Predictions button to save your predictions.
What is the scoring system used?
You get three points for correctly predicting the result and one point for predicting the correct outcome. For more information please read the Online Football Prediction Game Rules.
What is the cut off time before I can enter my predicitons?
You can enter your predictions ten minutes before the scheduled game is due to start. For more information please read the Online Football Prediction Game Rules.
I've checked the scores and they don't seem to be updated?
The scores will be updated within 24 hours of the scheduled kick off time.
What happens when a game is postponed?
Your prediction will remain and the date of the game will be updated when known. This game will then appear in the relevant competition stage, with your original prediction still intact. This prediction can be changed in the normal manner.
I've forgotten to do my predictions for the week, can you enter them into the system?
Unfortunately, if a week of predictions are missed then those points have been lost. If you configure the Prediction Reminder Alerts via the Preferences section in the Members area, then you will never forget to enter your predictions.
A game does not appear on my predictions even though I know it is scheduled for this week?
Report the problem and we will check and update the system accordingly.
I've noticed that an incorrect game has been scheduled? i.e. Man Utd vs Arsenal, when it should be Man Utd vs Man City.

I've noticed that an incorrect kickoff time or date is stated for a game?

I've noticed that a score is incorrect?
Report any problem with the scores and we will update the system accordingly.
What other games do you offer?

I cannot remember my password, how do I login?
Use the forgotten password feature. Enter your email address and a new password will be sent to your inbox.
Can I change my email address?
Yes, your email address can be changed using the Preferences section, once logged into Predict Addict. The new email address must be unique, so it cannot be changed to an email address that is already in use by another member.
How do I stop the prediction reminders service?
The prediction reminder service can be stopped by unchecking the Prediction Reminder Service under the Preferences section.
How do I stop the Newsletter service?
You can unsubscribe to the newsletter by sending an email to unsubscribe@predictaddict.co.uk, within the body of the email include the email address that you wish to unsubscribe from the newsletter service.
How can I create a link to Predict Addict on my website?
Simply copy the corresponding code into your web pages.

My web browser is not displaying Predict Addict correctly?
Predict Addict has been written using the W3C recommended web standards, XHTML and CSS 2.0. Unfortunately not all web browsers adhere to these standards. Predict Addict is known to support the following web browsers IE 6+, IE 7 and FireFox. Some of Predict Addict's functionality will not work as expected if Javascript is disabled in the web browser.
What if I am having problems with the site / my account?

My mate thinks he's better at predicting the results, can I challenge him?
Yes, once you've registered as a member you can create Mini Leagues that allow you to challenge your mates.
I've got a good suggestion for the site?

How do I report an error?
If you are experiencing problems, please send an email to support@predictaddict.co.uk detailing what page you were on and what action you were performing, along with your username if applicable. The more information you supply the better we can investigate and resolve the issue.
I don't seem to get any emails from Predict Addict?
This could be due to the fact the emails are being placed in your junk mail filter.
I'm interested in testing new features, how do I apply?
